Explorations

“SAMPLA exploration” is the adventure arm of SAMPLA. We conduct some of the world’s most ambitious and challenging exploration expeditions to discover and research Africa’s most elusive marine predators. SAMPLA welcomes applications from intrepid partners to join us on these expeditions

Join an Expedition

Africa’s coastal waters remain some of the least explored and most intact marine environments in the world. After 30 years (combined) of exploring these coastlines, our thirst for discovery and adventure only grows. SAMPLA expeditions are often lead by nothing more than our knowledge of marine life, a whisper in the wind, and our passion for discovery. However, they frequently result in discoveries of many untouched marine wonders that fulfill our innate curiosity and desire for adventure. SAMPLA expeditions are not for everyone, but we do accept a small number (max 4) of outgoing adventurers, photographers, journalists and film makers, sharing our discovery and exploration spirit.

Details of upcoming expeditions will be posted shortly in SAMPLA's Blog.
